An award winning phased regeneration of Canada Water just minutes from Canary Wharf and London Bridge. It is set alongside a landscaped courtyard with the peaceful Albion Channel nearby. There are a host of entertainment and amenities in the form of a plaza at the heart of the development.
Whitecode were appointed by our client to design a district heating system including 6mW of gas boilers and a 400kW CHP to deliver heating and hot water across a phased development built over a period of 4 years. The energy centre is located in phase 2 of the development, below ground district heating mains distribute across the site which straddles Surrey Quay Road. The design was implemented to ensure that connection of new phases to the district heating system did not affect supply of heating and hot water to occupied apartments.
