The 19 hectare site was previously the location of the Medical Research Council’s National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR)- but has since been redeveloped to provided 502 apartments, 12 large houses, residents fitness suite, concierge and commercial space. The scheme is located over 17 blocks with a mixture of tenures.
Whitecode was approached by Barratt London to provide Stages 0-6 M&E Design for the entire development. WDA have completed the design for phases 1 and 2 of the site with Phase 3 remaining. The project required a large amount of coordination due to a majority of the services being distrusted below ground , including a sitewide district heating network.
