Intelligent architecture and considered landscape design have been combined to create a unique sense of place. St James’ vision is to create an exclusive new community at Emerald Square. Both luxury apartments and modern houses have been included in the scheme, each bespoke home carefully designed to meet the demands of modern living. Designed to draw residents into the heart of this exclusive enclave, the landscaping and materials provide residents with an area to relax and to escape from the city. With landscaped gardens and communal green spaces, Barnes House and Richmond House have dedicated overground parking while Petersham House provides secure basement parking.
Whitecode did full M&E designs for the site. The apartments on the site are heated electrically, use Heat Recovery ventilation and some flats are served by their own individual PV panels for electricity generation. The houses are served by energy centre design, SAPs, Code for Sustainable Homes, SBEM and BREEAM. We will be doing site inspections shortly. We were involved from an early stage on the project and are following it through to Post Construction stage.
