Whitecode has received a bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) for its support of the armed forces community.

The ERS honours UK employers who are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming society for defence personnel throughout the nation. Comprising bronze, silver and gold awards, the scheme provides essential support for those who serve or have served in the armed forces, including their families.

Whitecode received the bronze certification after pledging its support for the Armed Forces Covenant, where the company consequently completed a statement of intent to further signify its commitment. This recognition, which is close to Whitecode’s heart, showcases the company’s unflinching respect for the armed forces community. It will also enable Whitecode to stay connected with the sector, namely through LinkedIn. The LinkedIn group is an important platform for bronze, silver and gold award holders to discuss related activities and show their support for the community.

Speaking on the news Alex Hill, Managing Director at Whitecode, said: “Whitecode are delighted to have received this recognition of our continued support for our armed forces”

Whitecode is humbled to be part of the ERS and cannot wait to connect with like-minded organisations who are firm supporters of the armed forces community.
